Vision

Our vision is of a county that places paramount importance on the housing needs of its working families. We envision a county where both existing and new businesses can secure and retain top-tier talent by collaborating with public and private sectors to provide affordable housing solutions that address the "missing middle." Over the next five years, our goal is to transform 20 vacant residential properties across three county municipalities into symbols of advancement and optimism for working families, driven by visionary mayors dedicated to this cause. Looking ahead, we anticipate the emergence of a substantial residential development that offers superior, cost-effective workforce housing within a community framework aligned with our county's core values. This development will stand as a beacon of progress, underscoring the county's resolute commitment to fulfilling the housing requirements of all its residents and cultivating a flourishing, fair-minded community for generations to come.
